We have an exciting opportunity for a Residence Life Event and Volunteer Officer, to work within the University.
The Residence Life Events and Volunteer Officer will support the development of our residential student community and enhance the experience of students living in our halls of residence.
You will lead the design, development, and delivery of a dynamic events program for students in our halls.
As part of the Residence Life team, you will collaborate with the student events team and contribute to our ResLife Strategy, coordinating events that align with the four key pillars of life in halls: Social & Fun, Community & Belonging, Education & Learning, and Health & Wellbeing. Building strong relationships with internal services and external businesses, organisations, and charities to support a diverse and inclusive events program.
You will be responsible for leading a team of student volunteers and for creating and distributing resources to deliver an exciting, engaging, and educational year-round events program.
This post is full time (35 hrs p/week) open ended. The successful candidate should expect the majority of these hours to be worked over evenings and weekends.
