Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you want to further your career in one of the UKs leading research-intensive Universities?
You will join a programme researching into liquid crystals with Prof. Helen Gleeson in the Soft Matter Physics Group.
You will have an experimental PhD degree (or have submitted your thesis before taking up the role) and research experience in Physics with significant experience in experimental studies of ferroelectric nematic liquid crystal physics.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, focusing on determining the properties of a ferroelectric nematic liquid crystal system using novel measurement techniques that can provide important evidence for a new application. In addition to contributing to research topics as part of the team, you will be an excellent communicator, writing papers, contributing to patent applications and making presentations.
