The Division of Marketing of Brunel Business School is seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer in Digital Marketing to support existing and new programmes as well as advance understanding in key areas such as digital transformation, search engine marketing, digital advertising, database marketing, artificial intelligence, algorithms and machine learning, human technology interaction, social media and big data. The appointee will be expected to lead the digital marketing team within the Marketing Division at Brunel Business School, particularly in relation to research and the enhancement of the provision of the teaching and learning of Digital Marketing within the School.

We are looking for highly motivated individual to join the Marketing and Corporate Brand Management Research Group who can make a significant contribution to our research, teaching and learning strategy. The Marketing and Corporate Brand Management Research Group has an excellent international reputation. Members have published widely in leading 4 and 3 star marketing and management journals, and have recently attracted major research grants from funding bodies such as the British Academy, The Leverhulme Trust, UK Research and Innovation (UKRI),The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC),and the British Council. The group is renowned for its leading research and social impact role in corporate brand management, acculturation and consumer behaviour.

Applicants must have sustained experience in the delivery of high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Digital Marketing and a track record of publications in the field. There is a strong culture of research and collaboration within the Department. Therefore, applicants will require a publication record in top-tier journals to fit in this group, while a record of income generation is desirable.

The successful applicant will also be expected to participate in at least one of the College research centres, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability, Global Lives, or a University Research Institute.

Teaching duties will include contributing effectively to the BSc and MSc programmes in Marketing which are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB),as well as on the MBA, and PhD programmes as required. In addition, applicants should have experience in programme management and development, quality assurance and compliance processes.
