ABOUT THE POST

The Admissions Manager (International) will lead a dynamic team during a period of sustained growth for the University.

You will be the first point of call for a team of Admissions Officers and Assistants making decisions on a wide range of applications. You will be expected to have the necessary application assessment skills to support the vast majority of enquiries and the ability to assess and recommend requirements based on new qualifications. You will also work with key partners to manage growth in application numbers and deliver consistent decision making in line with the University’s requirements.

You will be expected to be proactive and capable of managing and delivering complex processes. You will be responsible for performance managing your team and onboarding new members of the team to the high standards the University expects. You are expected to work collaboratively across key Departments to deliver strategic objectives.

The post holder will have a background in in international admissions and should be able to demonstrate management skills and how you meet the full job description. This role is suitable for someone with a history of management within an international Admissions team or someone of Officer level with significant international admissions experience who can demonstrate significant management skills. The post holder must be numerate and able to produce statistics to demonstrate KPIs through usage of common tools such as Microsoft platforms. You should have a very strong knowledge of international admissions, the SITS system and international compliance regulations as defined by UKVI Student Sponsor Guidance. You should hold strong values regarding accuracy, communication and transparency.

The Admissions Department operates on a hybrid work structure.
