Department of Health Sciences
This post will be based at the Department of Health Sciences at the University of York. The Department includes a group of health economists working with York Trials Unit on health economic evaluations in a range of fields as well as cost-effectiveness modelling.
We are looking to appoint a Research Fellow with a proven track record in health economics research. You will work with the group to undertake trial-based economic evaluations and cost-effectiveness modelling.

Role
As a Research Fellow, you will be responsible for undertaking work in cost-effectiveness analysis and health economic modelling. The main purpose of the Research Fellow role is to produce high quality economic evaluations and work with partners, both internal and external, on both trial-based studies and large datasets. The role will involve working with statistical packages including Stata, R, Excel VBA and SPSS and the candidate should be competent in the use of these software packages or equivalent.
You will be encouraged to develop your own portfolio of research and contribute to the development of research projects across the theme. You will conduct research and substantially contribute to publications and other outputs from the research.
