The School of English, Communication and Philosophy at Cardiff University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Grade 6, Teaching & Scholarship) to contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in English Language and Linguistics.
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching at UG and MA levels (primarily introductory lectures at Year one, and Sociolinguistics at Year two and MA levels), whilst also contributing to UG and MA dissertation supervisions and personal tutee workloads. Bringing an engaging and innovative approach to module delivery and assessment, a commitment to delivering excellent student experience and contributing to the enhancement of distinctive provision at Cardiff.
The post holder will engage effectively with academic, professional and public institutions and groups to raise awareness of the School’s profile, cultivate strategic alliances and enhance the School’s ambition to be a creative and inclusive community renowned for its impact on policy, practice and public life.
