Salary:
£42,155 to £53,353 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
The salary offered to the successful candidate will attract a consolidated AVA and a non consolidated clinical supplement, dependent on the amount of clinical work undertaken.
The University of Nottingham, School of Veterinary Medicine and Science wishes to expand its farm animal team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of future veterinary surgeons and teaching by sharing your knowledge and experience to ensure competence and inspire life-long learning.
Based at the Sutton Bonington Campus, and in our clinical associate veterinary practices you will will play a key role in design and delivery of an innovative farm animal curriculum as part of an internationally recognised team of clinical teachers. The role holder will participate in teaching predominantly relating to small ruminant medicine, surgery and production, especially in years 4-5, including teaching on clinical rotations. You will have a veterinary qualification suitable for clinical practice in the UK and technical competence in farm animal medicine, with a focus on sheep health and production.
The School has a diverse range of research activities, facilities and equipment to support an enquiring mind. Collaboration with research teams will be encouraged.
This post is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are part time (7.25 hours).
