The opportunity
We are seeking a part-time HR Services Adviser who is available on a 0.5 FTE / 18.5 hour per week. The role is available on a job-share basis so we are only able to consider applicants who can work one of the following patterns:
As a member of the HR Services team, you will work flexibly as part of a team and be responsible for the delivery of a high-quality Human Resources service across the University. The team operates across a wide-span of activity and whilst there is always the need for cross-team working, your main focus will be on one of the following: recruitment and selection; employment lifecycle; or part time hourly paid workforce.
About you
You will have relevant experience of Human Resources and you will also have significant experience of undertaking complex transactional administrative work in a busy office, including substantial experience of high-volume data entry in a HR/Payroll system. You will possess excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and with attention to detail. You will be able to work flexibly as part of the team that supports the delivery of an excellent and proactive service in line with operational deadlines and priorities.
