Fixed term contract (18 months), salary up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience
First established in 1971, the National Film and Television School (NFTS) has evolved to become a leading global institution, developing some of Britain and the world’s top creative talent in film, television and games. It is widely acknowledged to be the top school of its kind in the UK and one of the best internationally, being named as one of The Hollywood Reporter’s top international film schools for over a decade. The NFTS is a registered charity (313429).
The NFTS is assessing the viability of offering degree-level Apprenticeships for the film and television industry and are now advertising for an Apprenticeships Development Manager. The role involves conducting comprehensive research into the regulatory framework, requirements and funding models for degree-level apprenticeships as well as analysing the current landscape in order to develop and design a delivery model that the School can deliver with its industry partners.
This role would suit someone with knowledge of the film and television industry and the Higher Education landscape, who has the ability to collaborate effectively with academic staff, industry professionals and senior management. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the regulatory framework and funding models for apprenticeships in the UK and the ability to analyse and summarise complex data to present to senior management.
This is a fixed term contract for 18 months, with the possibility of extension depending on the success of the development of the Degree Apprenticeship Programme and registration of the NFTS as an Apprenticeship Training Provider.
For the right candidate it may be possible for the role to be undertaken with some remote working and/or on a part-time basis.
