Oxford Brookes University is looking to recruit two experienced, reliable and highly motivated Senior Applicant Engagement Officers, as a member of the Directorate of Marketing, Recruitment and Engagement, you will work as part of a driven team who apply their professional skills and expertise to provide high quality personalised information and guidance to prospective students and applicants.
As a Senior Applicant Engagement Officer you will lead a team responsible for the processing of applications and will work to ensure that applications from designated markets, specifically from under-represented groups, are processed in line with institutional policy and sector best practice, as well as ensuring that appropriate compliance processes are in place.

Overall Purpose of the post of Senior Applicant Engagement Officer:
The Applicant Engagement team leads on the University’s relationship with applicants. The Senior Applicant Engagement Officer will lead a team responsible for the delivery of communication and conversion strategies, and for providing high quality personalised information and guidance to prospective students and applicants. The post holder will work to ensure that applications from designated markets, specifically from under-represented groups, are processed in line with institutional policy and sector best practice, as well as ensuring that appropriate compliance processes are in place. The post holder will provide expert advice on qualifications and market context, and act as a primary contact for our UK and international partners, UK and international Recruitment, Partnerships & Apprenticeships and Access & Outreach teams.
Qualifications and Experience for the post Senior Applicant Engagement Officer:
We want to hear from candidates who have experience of the UK higher education admissions process and a good knowledge and understanding of the domestic and international applicant journey. The ability to lead a team to deliver against performance requirements is essential.
