Faculty / Directorate
Located at the heart of De Montfort University’s beautiful city centre campus, you will be part of DMU’s International Office which oversees International Recruitment through a team of regional managers, recruitment officers, compliance officers and business analysts. We are located within the Bede House building on campus, although we do operate on a hybrid approach to working location.
Role
As a Business Analysis Officer, you will be a problem-solver, highly numerate individual to join our team and contribute towards producing detailed insight analysis and reporting that will impact on decisions taken by the University with respect to international students. Through volume growth, compliance and student satisfaction.
In your new role, you will be confident in extracting, transforming and visualising data from a variety of data sources, using a range of business intelligence tools to create reports and dashboards. You will work collaboratively with other analysts across the university and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders in the International Office and the rest of the University.
Ideal Candidate
Ideally, you will have experience of working with and supporting International Students in a Higher Education environment. You will need to be an excellent intercultural communicator with a strong awareness of the challenges that International Students face in adapting to UK Higher Education. Experience of working effectively in teams is essential. You should be an advanced user of MS Excel and be confident with Power Query, Power Pivot as well as Macros and VBA.
