This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you a proactive individual with a solution-focused approach to work? Are you looking for a new challenge supporting members of the Student Education Development team in Organisational Learning and Professional Development?
The University of Leeds is one of the top 135 universities in the world. We have a truly global community, with more than 39,000 students from 170 different countries and over 9,000 staff of 100 different nationalities. Established in 1904, we have a strong tradition of academic excellence, reflected in first-class student education, along with world-leading research that has a real impact around the globe.
In this role, you play a key role in supporting staff within Organisational Development and Professional Learning (OD&PL) in the co-ordination of a portfolio of projects such as professional recognition and rewards in student education, student education leadership and professional development in student education practice. You will develop and monitor plans, produce relevant reports, co-create communication cascades, engage with key project stakeholders/participants, and provide administrative support. You will have a proven track record in delivering practical results with a flexible and collaborative approach balancing priorities and organising your work to key deadlines. You will be a confident user of MS Office applications. You will have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
This role will sit in the Student Education Development (Student Ed Dev) team within Academic Practice in OD&PL. You will work closely with the Student Ed Dev team members, and colleagues supporting our wider Research Culture work. This is an exciting time to join OD&PL as we lead and deliver professional development for staff throughout the University and support projects and initiatives to realise the University’s strategic goals.
