The Department of Media, Communications and Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London seeks to build on our 45 years of critical, creative and impactful research with the appointment of an experienced Lecturer in Media, Communications and Cultural Studies. Applicants should have expertise in critical theories and practices of the culture industry relating to, for example, intersectional work on digital labour, gig economies, precarity and Global South/Global North inequities. In particular, we are looking for someone to contribute to our high-quality teaching and research in the Department and to lead our unique MA Culture Industry programme. Candidates should have a publications record, a clear plan for future research and should be able to demonstrate familiarity with syllabus and curriculum design.
