We are seeking to appoint a full time Programme Administration Manager who will lead a team of Programme Administrators to provide support for the School’s London-based master’s programmes. The post holder also works closely with programme directors and module organisers both within and outside of their faculty.
The Programme Administration Manager will ensure the delivery of a professional, effective and efficient customer-facing support service for students, staff and external stakeholders. They will be expected to work closely with the other Programme Administration Managers in the Programme Administration Office, to optimise staff resources and provide cover as required. The Programme Administration Manager is responsible for developing and reviewing operating procedures, financial processes and budget monitoring, and providing support to Faculty and School committees and working groups.
The postholder will have significant experience of providing customer-facing support in an education setting and will have excellent staff management and leadership skills. Experience of effective change management is essential, along with the ability to develop and implement new procedures and systems. They should have experience of effective record keeping, working with a large student records system and the ability to produce and manipulate data.
The post is full time and permanent.
The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale Grade 5 in the range £37,531 - £42,875 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
