About the role
Working on the programme titled ‘UK-Ukraine R&I twinning grants scheme’, project name ‘Traceability in food supply chains for improved global and national competitiveness’, you will be part of the team producing high quality research. You will lead on the collection, evaluation and interpretation of the research data, whilst contributing to the writing up of findings for dissemination amongst the team and wider community.
About you
With a PhD in a relevant subject, you will be able to evidence experience of contributing to peer-reviewed journal papers (or equivalent). With great communication skills, enabling you to work with both internal and external stakeholders, you will be comfortable working independently and be involved in collaborative research.
Research experience in the following areas would be advantageous: sustainability, resilience, strategic management, socio-economic systems, agri-food supply chains, food supply chains, Industry 4.0 technology (AI, blockchain, etc.), food safety, food quality, food security.
