About the role
In this varied role as an International Senior Trial Manager, your primary aim will be to contribute to the management of the EASY-AS trial, an investigator led, multi-centre international research study Sponsored by the University of Leicester.
Reporting to the Head of Trial Management at the LCTU and in collaboration with the NIHR Advanced Fellow at the BRC, your primary responsibilities will be the set-up of a wide variety of international study sites, including supporting regulatory applications. You will provide leadership and trial management expertise of international sites, to facilitate the smooth and effective running of the EASY-AS trial overseas where under UoL Sponsorship.
About you
You will possess a higher degree (PhD or MSc) in a relevant biomedical science or associated subject with experience of clinical trials research or be a graduate with experience as a Trial Manager/Coordinator. You will have prior experience of setting up international research sites and preparing regulatory and ethics submissions for those territories, writing and/or amending protocols, preparing patient information sheets, reports and other relevant trial management documentation.
You will have an understanding of legislation governing international clinical trial conduct and extensive knowledge of clinical research and trial management methodology, including applicable regulatory requirements. Alongside your expertise, you will have proven project management experience and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You will be joining a busy, dynamic and successful team in a role that will offer varied and exciting opportunities to engage with a wide range of individuals. This role will also provide you with the opportunity to make a significant contribution to research on an international platform.
