We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our busy team within the International Relations Office on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating elements of the University’s institutional submissions to several international rankings, aiming to raise the international recognition and reputation of the University. The postholder will be experienced in data analysis and provide market insight and systematic process improvements. They will also be expected to maintain oversight of campaign and project plans to encourage internal and external engagement.
This is an exciting opportunity in the International Relations Office for someone who is extremely well organised, has excellent attention to detail and is flexible and responsive in adapting to changing demands. You will be working collaboratively with our communications, marketing, donor, development and alumni relations and policy, planning and compliance departments. You will have demonstrable experience of managing projects and their associated resources. You will also possess outstanding organisational and excellent interpersonal skills and have proven experience of working in a culturally diverse environment. Previous experience of interpreting HE sector market intelligence and understanding the implications for universities will be valued. The ability to demonstrate a good use of initiative, to multi-task and prioritise a high workload will be required.
The International Relations Office (IRO) is split into two teams:
The Partnership Team which is responsible for managing our overseas strategic partnerships and academic networks and alliances in research and education. Providing expert advice for international higher education and research collaborations, they oversee agreements, coordinate the IRO Funding Schemes and support capacity-building through transnational education and research training.
The Mobility Team co-ordinate and support international mobility activities, including Erasmus+ and Turing, short term overseas and exchange programmes. They provide information and guidance on applications for incoming and outgoing students and staff.

The normal place of work is predominantly the University of Bath campus to meet the needs of students, but the team does operate a hybrid working model.
