We are seeking a passionate researcher and educator, with a sound knowledge of at least one area of the Digital Humanities broadly defined. This may include Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or Spatial Humanities, data analysis for the humanities, relevant areas of the social sciences, or the use of structured and/or complex data to represent and explore the human social and cultural record. We are also seeking candidates with experience of at least one programming language, such as R or Python, and its application to these areas, and the ability to teach coding at beginner and intermediate level.

A focus on linking practice with recent theoretical approaches to quantitative analysis, both in teaching and research, will be particularly appreciated.
Successful candidates will also undertake pastoral and administrative duties, including personal tutoring and contribution to Departmental, Faculty and University administration.
