We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Co-Ordinator to support Professor Tonia Vincent, based at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team of scientists and clinician researchers working on arthritis and related conditions.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management and communications to support the Versus Arthritis Centre for Osteoarthritis Pathogenesis and wider Tissue Biology research programmes, including post-award grant management, financial monitoring and planning and organising events. You will have excellent communication and administrative skills and be able to prioritise tasks effectively in the context of a demanding and highly professional work environment.
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) with previous experience in a senior administrative role. You will be able to demonstrate proven planning and organisational skills and the ability to work independently using your own initiative. A good knowledge of standard desktop IT applications is essential and experience of maintaining websites is desirable.
This is a part-time position (0.6-0.8FTE) for 3 years in the first instance.
