Summary:
The Department of Geography is searching for a lecturer in Human Geography with an excellent research trajectory which can contribute to the department's focus on questions of social justice and environmental change. You will contribute to and enhance research-led teaching across our human geography programmes, which focus on environmental geography, social and cultural geography, political geography and geographies of the Global South. You will expand our research profile, and contribute to the Department’s outstanding reputation in this area.
You will have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject area and an excellent research trajectory in Human Geography, evidenced through high impact publications. You will also have proven teaching skills and experience in developing and enhancing teaching programmes.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate an excellent research trajectory in Human Geography, particularly with a focus on social justice and/ or environmental change. We welcome applications from candidates who have evidence of collaborative working, university-level teaching and who can enhance our research performance within the Department of Geography and through collaboration with our interdisciplinary research centres.
