About the role

As a Senior Functional Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in managing our HR and payroll systems and Health and Safety systems. Your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Functional Analysis Team Lead for software patching and feature releases.
  • Serving as the Change Coordinator, overseeing system changes and developments.
  • Working with internal teams to identify and prioritize system enhancements.
  • Providing second-line support for issue resolution.
  • Developing training materials and support documentation.
  • Contributing to system testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Identifying and implementing system enhancements.
  • Maintaining high-quality customer service while adhering to data protection principles.

About you

We're seeking candidates with these qualifications and attributes:

  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to understand HR business, process, and IT issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with report definition and writing (preferably SQL and PowerBI/SSRS).
  • Strong organizational skills and effective task prioritization.
  • A team player with an approachable and helpful attitude.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Desirable qualifications and experience:

  • Proficiency in writing Oracle SQL queries.
  • Experience in an IT service-managed environment or an ITIL qualification.
  • PRINCE2/project qualification or project management experience.
  • Recent experience with HR or Health and Safety business systems.
