We are seeking applications from committed and experienced timetabling professionals with current and relevant experience to provide maternity leave cover for our Timetabling Manager.
UCA is currently undertaking an exciting and substantial programme of system and business process redesign to significantly enhance our stakeholder engagement and experience of academic timetabling. Some experience of managing projects and developing and re-engineering processes would be extremely valuable.
Demonstrating experience of academic timetabling in a Further or Higher Education environment, you will be confident defining and working accurately with large sets of complex data, delivering training, providing technical support and creating written guidance/procedural documentation.
You will be actively involved with our academic and student stakeholders, helping to support system and process rollouts, whilst also working to find innovative solutions which support continuous improvement, removing existing barriers and positively challenging accepted norms.
The post requires a high level of attention to detail with strong organisational, liaison and communication skills. You will be able to build good relationships with our academic and professional services teams, able to understand their needs and deliver an exceptional service to our students.
You will be managing a small but dedicated and supportive team, at various stages of their own timetabling development. We value honesty, integrity, good doses of realism alongside a sense of fun and adventure.
