The School of Fashion & Textiles at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) has a long track-record of delivering an excellent student experience to a diverse student community, of developing creative skills that are sought-after by employers and of securing its graduates good positions in the industry. In September 2023, UCA will show at London Fashion Week. In addition to its textiles, fashion atelier, fashion design and fashion image undergraduate and postgraduate courses, UCA launched the pioneering MA Digital Fashion in 2021, a cross-over between fashion and games which attracted prestigious industry collaborations such as Farfetch and Epic Games.
The School of Fashion Textiles is now looking for recruit a professor to lead its research agenda and shape the research culture of the school. The right candidate will have experience with PhD supervision, and research bids. The right person will have a curious and entrepreneurial, mindset to foster creativity and innovation in fashion & textiles research, and inspire fellow staff members.
The role is offered with the conferment of title which will form part of the interview and selection process. The successful candidates will be based at UCA Epsom.
