Anglia Ruskin University, London (ARU London) is an ambitious, teaching-focused provider of undergraduate and postgraduate education, primarily aimed at a widening participation audience. Based in the heart of London, just a stone-throw from Farringdon Station, ARU London is a multi-building campus hosting over 9,500 students studying subjects related to Business, Hospitality, Healthcare, Law and Finance.
Continued growth in demand for our student-focused courses has led to the opportunity to expand our exceptional delivery team in Health and Social Care. In particular, we are seeking a Module Leader to develop and lead our level 5 module, Lifecycle Development.
We are looking for lecturers with healthcare or social care sector experience in a professional role as well as relevant teaching experience in higher education. Our ideal candidate will have a wide suite of subject knowledge in the health and social care sector.
If you are enthused with your subject, motivated by helping students develop their professional knowledge and skills, share our belief in the transformational nature of education, are capable of working in a high-tempo environment, and wish to be rewarded for your teaching excellence, then we would like to talk to you about opportunities at ARU London.
You will be qualified to a minimum of undergraduate level in a relevant healthcare or social care discipline. A strong grounding in industry will be an advantage, together with fellowship (or commitment to gain fellowship) of the HEA.
To apply, please forward your CV with a cover letter as soon as possible to: Academicresourcing@london.aru.ac.uk, via the ‘Apply’ button above.
