It is looking for ambitious, talented academics with a passion for teaching to join its team of Education and English experts in the School of Education and English. UNNC is part of the University of Nottingham’s Global University, and offers unique teaching and research opportunities in a highly dynamic economy.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching and curriculum development for undergraduate programmes in Interpreting and Translating and relevant programmes.

Candidates must have a PhD degree and preferably postgraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field in Interpreting and Translating discipline with excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Knowledge and experience of teaching and use of digital teaching mode are necessary. Experience of teaching and tutorial at undergraduate level in an international English-speaking institution are preferable. More specially, we are looking for someone who can contribute to interpreting teaching and dissertation supervision between English and Chinese.

The successful candidate will be offered a fixed-term contract that may be extended to an indefinite basis by mutual agreement. Salary will be within the range of RMB345,676 to RMB471,120 per annum depending on skills and experience (salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance) and you will have a range of benefits and entitlements, including accommodation and flight allowance, insurances, schooling support, relocation & repatriation support, and paid annual leave.
