The role
To design, implement and project manage digital and blended interventions and programmes related to people, skills, leadership, and career development. The role will be aligned to the University strategy and will contribute to enabling an environment where people feel valued and can effectively develop their career.
This role is open ended with fixed funding until 31st July 2025.
What will you be doing?
You will oversee the strategic direction of digital and blended learning within the People Development team, ensuring alignment with the broader People Development strategy and in collaboration with relevant colleagues. You will work independently and as part of a team designing and delivering digital and blended learning, using a range of tools and platforms. You will manage relationships with external suppliers of digital learning platforms and content, and will make recommendations about future requirements for systems and content. You will also liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure that the content and design meets the needs of the wide-ranging user groups.
You should apply if
You are an experienced digital learning and development practitioner who can hit the ground running, with a high level of organisational and communication skills. You have demonstrable experience and an in-depth understanding of the digital and blended learning environment including design, development and implementation of a wide range of content and programmes, for various audiences. You are confident working with learning management systems, content authoring tools and external providers of learning resources. You keep abreast of new developments and research in digital and blended learning, and take a future-focused approach to ensuring that learner needs are met in the most accessible and inclusive way. in You are a self-starter, able to work on your own initiative, enjoy collaborating with a team and can also take direction. Experience of working on projects is also highly valued.
