We are seeking an exceptional candidate to enhance the excellence in teaching and research in the Dundee Law School. Dundee Law School offers a wide range of core and optional modules, and we deliver degrees in both Scots and English Law.
The successful candidate will be expected to take a leading role in the development of our commercial and corporate law curriculum, working across our LLB and taught LLM programmes and PhD supervision.
Specialist expertise may come from across areas of corporate or commercial law, for example corporate governance, international sales, e-commerce, commercial arbitration, banking and financial services, international taxation, fin tech, or the relationship between law and technology. Depending on their specialism, the successful candidate will lead work on developing shared provision with the School of Business, or with the Leverhulme Centre for Forensic Science, or on leading our suite of LLM programmes.
In addition to teaching and administrative duties (including student recruitment) the successful candidates should have a clearly articulated research strategy and will undertake excellent research with demonstrable impact. Pursuit of external grant funding and published research papers are essential along with a strategy for knowledge exchange.
