2-YEAR FIXED-TERM CONTRACT
Richmond, American University in London, is seeking to appoint an Admissions and Registry Assistant.
The Admissions and Registry Assistant will report to the Deputy Registrar: Systems & Compliance and will be supervised by the Head of Admissions when supporting the Admissions team.
The Admissions and Registry Assistant is responsible for providing effective administrative support to the Admissions and Registry Services teams. Admissions responsibilities will include responding to applicant queries, assisting with making and communicating decisions on applications, and providing prospective students and parents with information and guidance on the application process, from initial enquiry to final registration.
The Admissions and Registry Assistant will support Registry Services in delivering a range of key operational functions throughout the academic year, including examinations, graduation and timetabling.
It is anticipated that the post holder will support Admissions for 2.5 days per week, and Registry Services for 2.5 days per week, subject to the weekly priorities in the academic cycle.
The preferred candidate will ideally have a working knowledge of UCAS procedures, and of UKVI requirements for visas to study in the UK.
