Engineering is changing. Climate change, sustainability, digital design and fabrication, machine learning and automation are all impacting the civil and structural engineering profession. We are seeking to recruit a Senior University Teacher to help shape our taught programmes to address and take advantage of the future’s challenges. We wish to appoint a Civil or Structural Engineer with the vision and drive to help our department achieve its ambition to deliver an outstanding educational experience and equip our graduates to advance understanding in civil and structural engineering, regenerate a thriving planet and secure the enduring wellbeing of all humanity. Your professional experience could be in any area of civil and structural engineering but we are particularly seeking to promote teaching in the following areas:
