We are looking for an experienced and customer focused individual to join our Transport and Logistics team based at Kings Meadow Campus. The main focus of this role will be on maintaining and monitoring data held within our computer systems, providing guidance, reports, and recommendations to multiple departments to ensure the university is compliant with legislation. You will organise, plan and communicate daily requests to the wider team to ensure all are actioned and supported and will create vehicle manifests, process invoices, action emails, and respond to customer and team queries providing excellent customer service at all times.

As part of this role you will also assist in providing a discrete chauffeuring service to the University Executive Board and VIPs and will provide support to the accessible minibus service, safely and efficiently transporting students and staff across and between university sites and off-site.

Candidates should hold a vocational qualification (NVQ2 Administration with secretarial skills) or equivalent or have experience of working in an office/administrative/ operational environment. You should also have experience of working with IT systems, controlling and manipulating data within them. Due to the frequency with which you will drive University vehicles a full, current driving licence is essential for this role.

The post is offered on a permanent contract. Hours of work are, 36.25 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 to be arranged, mainly Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 4.15pm Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends will be required. Job share arrangements may be considered.
