The Academic System Support and Development Officer will support and contribute to the configuration and development of systems that support the effective administration of the teaching and student related activity. The principal system being Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Other systems include MyDay for attendance management, engagement management and data flows to the University’s VLE. The post holder will be responsible for the efficient and effective development, support and maintenance of academic systems, ensuring incidents and service requests are proactively managed. The post holder will also lead on system upgrades, patches and improvements that meet the user requirement. The support and configuration of Academic systems requires the ability to understand student information management processes and have a good general awareness of effective data and process management.
A generous holiday entitlement of 25 days per annum plus an additional 5 days after 5 years continuous service, plus bank holidays, plus University closed days.
