The Registrar and Secretary’s Office at Leeds Beckett University is looking to appoint a Student Data Returns Analyst to work within our university Student Registry.
The appointed candidate will be responsible for managing data returns to the Student Loans Company and the ESFA (Education & Skills Funding Agency), with some involvement in other statutory returns delivered by the wider team.
The post holder will plan and coordinate the timely delivery of statutory returns to external agencies, ensuring submissions are timely and of high quality. They will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency of the returns process and adapt to changing statutory requirements, consulting with other stakeholders across the University as appropriate.
This post is key to supporting the effective processing of our student returns to a high standard. They will provide expert level guidance and training on student data and external reporting matters, translating statutory requirements into business processes, as well as responding to complex queries from students.
The successful candidate will support the Student Data Returns Manager in overseeing the development of the team, its work and the services and guidance offered to stakeholders in a complex and changing environment. They will have significant experience of statutory student data returns in a higher education setting; and expert knowledge of the data, systems and processes involved in student administration, which ultimately feed into the provision of data for statutory reporting.
They will also have the ability to deliver high levels of customer service and ensure the team operates within the boundaries of relevant legal and external requirements.
