The University Library is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Academic Liaison Librarian.  This exciting, varied, and developmental role supports the Academic Liaison Team, predominantly focusing on the Bournemouth University Business School. It provides teaching, student support, enquiry services and collection management. The role also contributes to the delivery of several team priorities which may include online guidance, archives, researcher support, research data management and peer learning.

As a librarian, you will utilise your excellent people skills to work collaboratively with faculty, professional services and Library & Learning Services colleagues. Your knowledge of higher education and enthusiasm for developing your own teaching skills will enable you to support the development and delivery of sessions for our Academic Skills programme. Your interest in research data management and commitment to open scholarship will enable you to contribute to the institutional repository teams.

This post presents an exciting opportunity to join BU’s innovative Academic Liaison Team within Library & Learning Services. This integrated team is responsible for the delivery of high-quality support to staff and students.
