The School of Mathematics & Physics at Queen’s University Belfast is seeking to appoint a Research Fellow to support the delivery of the UKRI Strength in Places Fund Programme Smart Nano NI, who will assist in the delivery of research, designs and prototypes of photonic devices.
In this role you will take a lead in development mechanical and electronic circuit design, prototyping, and evaluation for diagnostic and therapeutic devices to tackle challenges in medical imaging and biosensing.
The post holder will be expected to undertake travel/trips to the collaborators during the post.
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:
A degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline; with a PhD/EngD completed in Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline.
