Scholars School System is a project of UK CURRICULUM & ACCREDITATION BODY (UKCAB, a registered charity founded in 2006) having campuses across the United Kingdom, is looking for an Associate Dean – External Partnerships across all campuses, based in the Birmingham campus.

Scholars School System is a national independent higher education provider, offering world class education. Taught programmes, ranging from Foundation Year through to Level 7, delivered in partnership with institutions such as Leeds Trinity University. Over 5000 (UK and EU) learners have successfully completed their learning journey in the last five years with the current student population is over 3000.

Reports to: Higher Management

Main Responsibilities

  • Accountable for maintaining current partnerships and overseeing the development of new partnerships that will increase growth.
  • Ensure effective communication is in place with partners
  • Supporting the development of new business opportunities
  • Managing projects such as press conferences, thought-leadership events, executive interviews issues management
  • Creating and driving a pro-active programmer of external relations initiatives such as media announcements, executive interviews, by-liner article placement
  • Managing colleagues on administrative and organisational tasks such as client mailings, maintenance of client database.
  • Co-ordinate, process and track incoming community investment requests
  • Collaborate with, faculty and senior leaders on innovations and goals and develop plans for implementation
  • Gather and organise information from a variety of sources and present in a clear and concise manner – both written and verbal

Education:

  • PhD. in a related field with relevant experience in setting up new and managing existing partnerships.

Experience:

  • Recommending changes to existing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with partner university guidelines
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented individuals who can thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Highly visible role, both externally and internally, requiring regular interaction with senior management
  • Practical experience in the marketing or Practice Area/knowledge group or client team/business development areas, international experience a plus
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, experience in database management preferred
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment with constantly changing priorities
