The Estates department is seeking to appoint a Contracts Coordinator to manage a new JCT Measured Term Contract that will be commencing in February 2024.

This is an exciting time to join us as we transform our services to deliver a pivotal professional service, supporting the maintenance and development of the University physical estate.

As a vital member of the Building Operations Team you will provide a high-quality customer centric solutions-based service, focussing on the contract management and delivery of reactive repair works,  and minor refurbishment projects.

You’ll be an effective communicator, acting as the key liaison point for the Building Operations team with two dedicated Framework contractors across the academic and residential estate. You’ll be a keen facilitator of collaborative working and developing the delivery requirements of the new Measured Term Contract.
As a the JCT contract lead, you will administrate the delivery of building Fabric, Mechanical or Electrical related works under the value of £10,000, working in conjunction with the Electrical, Mechanical and Fabric Services teams as required.

The post holder will have experience of managing similar small scale contract works and administration of call-off contracts within a maintenance environment.
