Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work with Professor Eoin McKinney, Professor of Arthritis at the Cambridge Institute for Immunotherapy and Infectious Disease (CITIID, Jeffrey Cheah Building). The post-holder will work within a programme focussed on identifying and modulating the biological mechanisms underlying immune-mediated diseases, with a focus on Type 1 Diabetes and immune responses in healthy ageing individuals.
The successful applicant will possess a PhD in a relevant subject such as computational biology and have extensive experience of applying computational methods to genomic datasets including single cell and multi-omic sequencing, immune receptor repertoire analysis and data integration with clinical meta-data from human cohorts and experimental medicine studies. In addition, they will possess excellent communication (written and verbal), with team-working skills. Candidates must have a track record of research achievement, including peer-reviewed publications.
