We are seeking a Senior Research Associate to work with Dr Zarnie Khadjesari on the UEA Health and Social Care Partner funded “Access to Results: Acceptability of immediate access to test results via a hospital patient portal” study. The study objectives are to explore the acceptability of immediate access to test results via a hospital patient portal in a cross-sectional survey; to explore the barriers and enablers to immediate access to test results in qualitative interviews; and to design an implementation strategy to support roll-out of immediate access to test results.
As a Senior Research Associate you will contribute ideas and/or enhancement of techniques or methodologies. You will analyse and interpret data, write up results and present information on research progress and outcomes.
You will have a postgraduate level qualification, equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant research area. You will also have experience of independent research, have publications in respected journals or equivalent within the field and be able to work in a proactive and results driven manner in a high paced environment. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret data and work effectively as part of a team.
This part-time (0.4 FTE) post is available from 1 May 2024 on a fixed term basis for 9 months.
