Applications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 or Level 2 within UCD School of Business.
This position is part of a 4-year Marine Institute-funded project called ENACT.
We are looking for a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to lead key work packages in the ENACT project. This includes developing the engaged research process, working with local communities to establish, refine and finalise energy narratives (notably by incorporating resident-led and other engaged research methods), and producing project outputs such as publications, policy briefs and community-oriented formats for knowledge sharing and dissemination. The role requires close collaboration with the ENACT project team and will be developed under the supervision and direction of the PI and Project Partners. This is an academic research role, where you will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training and development under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator. The primary purpose of the role is to further develop your research skills and competences, including the processes of publication in peer-reviewed academic publications, the development of funding proposals, the mentorship of graduate students along with the opportunity to develop your skills in research led teaching.
