Do you have experience in providing communications support to major projects or initiatives? Are you an enthusiastic individual with excellent administrative skills?
This is a multifaceted communications and administrative support role within an interdisciplinary research centre, working across the Faculties of Environment and Engineering with other partners across the University as part of the Geosolutions research centre. Geosolutions Leeds is an exciting new strategic investment by the University of Leeds as part of its Climate Plan, supporting the refocusing of research. Geosolutions Leeds brings together world-leading expertise in geology, engineering and social science to deliver an integrated-systems approach to energy geoscience that will meet NetZero goals. You will be responsible for ensuring the success and achievements of the centre are captured and communicated both internally and externally, and the smooth day to day running of administrative processes in the centre.
The role will involve you liaising and communicating with a wide variety of people both within and outside the University of Leeds. Therefore, excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with flexibility will be important attributes of the successful candidate. You will be able to build effective working relationships with the Centre management team, Centre members and collaborators, both within Leeds and internationally, and communicate your enthusiasm effectively.
