We wish to appoint a Senior Clinical Lecturer (SCL) based in the Academic Unit of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, School of Clinical Dentistry. SCL is a senior grade in the University’s Academic Careers Pathway with the following core responsibilities: High Quality Research Outputs, High Quality Teaching Practice and Leadership in Academic Citizenship. In this role you will make a key contribution to the School’s teaching and research ambitions and join a team committed to improving oral health.
For appointment as a Senior Clinical Lecturer, you will have a strong track record of research and will be given encouragement and support to develop your research within one of the research groups in the School. You will have a PhD or equivalent, a track record of research with high quality publications, grant income and evidence of independence as a researcher.
You will be clinically qualified and will have completed your specialist training and be on the Oral Surgery specialist list of the General Dental Council
