About the Department:
The Research and Knowledge Exchange Directorate is a growing team that manages the whole lifecycle of research and knowledge exchange activities at SOAS, from supporting researchers to applying for funding to generating research impact and commercialising new knowledge. It is an exciting time to join the SOAS Research and Knowledge Exchange Directorate as SOAS’ Research and Knowledge Exchange Strategy commits us to ensuring SOAS claims a place amongst research-intensive universities internationally.
About the Role
SOAS is seeking to appoint to a maternity cover for the Research Culture Manager role within the growing Research Culture and Policy team. You will be responsible for supporting senior leadership to develop and deliver a strategy for building a vibrant, inclusive and dynamic research culture, through gathering stakeholder feedback, project managing workstreams, and evaluating outcomes. Support for the HR Excellence in Research Award and the Research Culture committee will be key responsibilities, along with the design, development and delivery of a wide-ranging researcher development programme.
The post is suited to someone with prior experience of managing research culture or researcher development who can work positively across professional and academic teams to deliver results. You will join a small and supportive team and have excellent opportunities for networking and career development
