This role will provide the successful applicant with an exciting opportunity to join the University’s newly expanded Quality Assurance and Compliance team. These roles offer the successful applicant with the opportunity to take responsibility for a variety of important tasks that support the University’s compliance with external and internal Regulations. As part of a large team, you will also have the opportunity to expand your skills, knowledge and experience by covering a variety of tasks in other areas of the team in response to peaks in workloads. 

You will have an excellent eye for detail, be proactive in managing your own workload, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have enthusiasm to improve the efficiency of existing processes and procedures. You will have strong communication skills and be keen to develop your knowledge and understanding of quality assurance and accreditation requirements.  

 As QA and Accreditations Coordinator, you will:

  • Create and develop project and work plans to ensure that all activity related to the Division’s accreditations are delivered to a high standard and in accordance with published deadlines and expectations
  • Ensure compliance with the Academic Misconduct Policy by supporting the academic misconduct procedure, working with the Chair of the committee and liaising with students
  • Undertake data gathering exercises in order to collate information required for the reporting on continuous monitoring, periodic course review and accreditation
  • Provide administrative support to ensure that course and module specifications are up-to-date and compliant 

To succeed in this role you will have: 

  • Educated to A Level, including GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate
  • Clearly and accurately with a wide range of people (internal and external)
  • Excellent organisational and prioritising skills with ability to complete tasks promptly, accurately and with attention to detail
  • Good IT skills; familiar with the use of large databases, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications and web-based applications to capture and report on quality assurance and accreditation data
