An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join The Bench Bar at Surrey Sports Park, a state of the art Leisure Complex and Fitness Facility, home to numerous professional sports teams and partnered with the University of Surrey.
The Surrey Sports Park restaurant boasts a 70 seat bar, 2 day conference rooms and 2 activity rooms for large banquets of up to 250 people. The Bench Bar offers a wide selection of healthy, balanced food which aims to support the positive lifestyles of the SSP guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Working alongside the Head Chef, you’ll effectively manage all kitchen operations for The Bench Bar, Professional Sports Team catering and all Hospitality events.
This includes managing the kitchen team, menu creation and preparation, achieving the highest standard of food production, controlling and managing the food cost in line with the budget and ensuring compliance with the department’s food safety management system.

The kitchen is open 7 days a week all year round, therefore will require a strong chef to operate the kitchen at all times.
