The Senior Advertising Marketing Officer will be an experienced marketeer who has a strong understanding of advertising products and channels. With significant experience either working as a client with an advertising agency or at an advertising agency, you will be confident writing campaign briefs, understanding and interpreting advertising plans, project managing the team to advertise assets, writing google copies and analysing results to provide recommendations.
The post holder will have experience in the following;
You will have excellent problem-solving and customer service skills to work with a range of internal stakeholders where you will be expected to understand their challenges and then interpret these challenges into concise messages for advertising.
You will demonstrate a good understanding of campaign project management, how to communicate with multiple different stakeholders, and have a proven track record for delivering a return-on-investment on projects.
You will be a key player in the Student Marketing and Advertising team, working closely with the CRM, Web, Content, Recruitment Events and Social Media teams to deliver advertising strategy and ensure all assets are created and follow up activity is ready to continue nurturing leads generated.
The role would suit someone who can balance multiple projects whilst having the ability to optimise advertising campaigns at the same time. The ability to interpret data is an essential part of the role.
Although an understanding of the HE market is desirable, this is not essential.
