The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the College Kitchens in the role of Kitchen Porter. General duties include maintaining kitchen equipment and keeping utensils
clean including dishes, pots and pans. You will also support the chefs in the preparation of some food items and learn different methods food preparation. No experience is required, and full training will be given.
This is a part-time, permanent role. The hours of work are 20 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days including evenings and weekends depending on business. The annual full time equivalent salary for this role is £24,960 (pro-rated for part-time, £12,480).
The College
Gonville & Caius College is one of the largest Colleges in the University of Cambridge. It is an educational charity and its mission is to provide a place of education, religion, learning and research, in conjunction with the University that is recognised internationally as being of the highest standard.
