This is an exciting opportunity to join the Elementary Particle Physics group within the Department of Physics at the University of Warwick.
We are seeking to appoint a Research Fellow to undertake research in the LHCb experiment, specifically to work on development of the TORCH subdetector for LHCb Upgrade 2 and to contribute to our programme of LHCb data analysis.
We are looking for someone with a PhD in experimental particle physics or another relevant subject, and a proven track record of research in instrumentation and/or data analysis. Experience in software and modern data analysis techniques would be valuable for the role, as would good working knowledge of C++ and Python. Candidates should have excellent communication and collaborative working skills, as well as demonstrated experience of planning and time management to deliver research goals effectively.
