Lucy Cavendish College, part of the University of Cambridge, is seeking to appoint an Assistant Programme Coordinator. This role will play a key role in the College’s tutorial provision for all students but with a particular focus on incoming students.

Your responsibilities will include assisting the Senior Tutorial Programme Coordinator with the design and delivery of a group tutorial programme covering careers, wellbeing, mental health support and finance, amongst other topics. The Assistant Coordinator will play an active role in college life and attend key college events such as Bridging Week, Matriculation, and Graduations. 

You will be highly organised with an ability to multi-task, work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Alongside excellent oral and written communication skills, you will be committed to high professional standards, have a friendly approach, be able to manage sensitive and confidential issues and remain discreet, calm, and professional. You will be resilient, with the ability to exercise judgement and use initiative. With experience of producing written reports to a high standard, you will have experience of designing and delivering programmes or schemes of work and have excellent record keeping skills.

You will be educated to degree level, have experience of supporting students in a pastoral capacity including those with complex needs or experiencing particular difficulties and have previous experience of working with students on higher education programmes.

This role is due to commence at the start of September 2024.
