The Role
The IEO is responsible for coordinating the University of Surrey’s International Engagement Strategy. Surrey has ambitious strategic targets to increase the participation of our students in international opportunities, and expand the international dimension of the Surrey experience. We aim to enable access for under-represented groups and broaden international mobility and other international engagement activities for all our students and postgraduate researchers.
This is a diverse role within a dynamic team, and we are seeking a customer-focused individual with administrative experience to take on this student facing role. You will work with a range of internal and external stakeholders including students, faculty staff, partner institutions and professional services colleagues at Surrey. The main focus of the post will be to support incoming student exchange and study abroad activities and administrative tasks.
About you
You’ll have proven administrative experience and IT skills, possessing excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and exceptional organisation skills with an attention to detail. We work in a fast-paced and changing environment so you will be adaptable, able to work flexibly and to tight deadlines, and ready to take on new challenges.

Interviews will take place on Monday 19 August. All interviews will be in person in Guildford. Applicants invited to interview will be asked to deliver a short presentation as part of the interview.
