Sport & Physical Activity is the department of the University of Sheffield that manages all aspects of sport, including facilities and related services. The facilities at Goodwin Sports Centre include a 170 station gym, strength and conditioning room, squash courts, sports hall, studios & extensive outdoor pitch provision. At Norton Sports Park we have 44 acres of grass playing fields and a rugby/football and hockey synthetic pitch.

Assistant Facilities & Fitness Manager
The purpose of the role is to support the day to day operations across Goodwin Sports Centre and Norton Sports Park. With a focus on enhancing a culture of service excellence, compliance with health & safety, motivating and managing operational teams, maximising membership and optimising customer retention.
This role will contribute to the delivery of the new Department of Sport & Physical Activity’s Strategy for Sport and includes assisting the Operations Manager with the following responsibilities:
